Overall, Russia has been loosing territory in Ukraine so far since 7 August 2026 on a weekly basis.
In comparison to 2024 and 2025, Russia had insignificant gains or losses in territory in Ukraine from April 2026 to July 2026. Note the seasonal pattern from April to July and how this year compares to previous years. Next seasonal pattern to check is October to December 2026.
