Equipment Review for Tanks, Armored Combat Vehicles, and Artillery.

Summary

Initial Tanks will be revised to 11,000 (previously 9000)

Initial Artillery will remain at 30000.

Initial Armored Combat Vehicles will be revised 26000. (previously 25000)

Tanks

Covert Cabal said that there may be 1500 tanks in garages that could be added to the inventory and that Russia may have started with 8000 not 600 tanks at the start of the war, although some of these tanks would be T54, T55, or T62 tanks.

UVD set tanks to 6000 in storage and 3000 active for a total of 9000.

This total will now be revised to 8000 + 3000 = 11000 for Initial Tanks.

Artillery

Covert Cabal reported a total of 2566 SPG for July 2024 and 6134 Towed plus Mortar for June 2024. Total reported artillery losses for 26 July 2024 were 15,840. This gives a total of 2566 + 6134 + 15,840 = 24,450. Initial Artillery was set at 30000 (Storage + Active) which makes remaining equal to 5550.

In a separate video Covert Cabal had total artillery in storage (including mortars and SPG) set to 19080. This will make active equal to 10290.

We see no reason to reduce the number for Initial Artillery as mortars are included in enemy losses and this will account for mortars.

Initial Artillery will remain at 30000.

Armored Combat Vehicles.

Covert Cabal reported 8917 Armored Combat Vehicles in storage by September 2023. Covert Cabal reported 2966 MLTBs in storage at the start of the war and 488 by July 2024. This translates to a loss of 2.82 vehicles per day and 1402 vehicles remaining by September 2023. Although these are not ACVs, they will be included to ensure estimates are conservative and some have been used in front line assaults.

Total reported Armored combat vehicle losses on 29 September 2023 were 8972. This makes the total 8972 + 8917 + 1402 = 19291 as a minimum value for Initial armored combat vehicles.

On 29 September 2023 UVD estimated 18,623 armored combat vehicles remaining. Covert Cabal has 8917 + 1402 = 10319 in storage. Using 18,623 and subtracting 10,319 in storage we have 8304 active at that time.

Initial armored combat vehicles was set at 25,000. There are some obsolete vehicles that may be recoverable and for this reason 1000 vehicles will be added to ensure estimates are conservative.

Initial Armored Combat Vehicles will now be set to 26000.
